How Cruel How cruel of youHow Cruel by ~ForNeverAndForever
To leave your mark on my ceiling.
Glaring at me each night
Fading slowly, with my consciousness
Into the nightmares.
Nightmares formerly soothed when
Your arms twitched closer around me
Or your breath caught at my neck
Reminding me that I was not alone
In the cold and narrow bed.
Now the glowing letter is all that's left
Besides the hope, growing daily dimmer
That soon you'll smile for me again
Brighten your eyes for me again
Relax your troubled mind
And begin anew.

Snowglobe You shake me up and set me downSnowglobe by ~ForNeverAndForever
All this snow swirling all around
I live in a glass ball, I see it all
I cannot help you when you fall.
You turn the key, I play a song
You hear the notes, they're never wrong.
They can't lie
I can't cry
I'll be here long after you die.
You polish me every day
I'm trapped in such a pretty cage
I look just like the others,
Do I mean more than the others?

Sixteen I Don't Want To Grow Up.Sixteen by ~ForNeverAndForever
I'm digging my heels into the ground, kicking and screaming
As the (clueless) letters pour into my parent's mailbox.
Letters that reduntantly advertise bright futures as though they were
Objects you could simply posses, or sell at random.
LALALALALA- I can't hear
My father lecture me on the fine points of Driving
When to turn
When to slow
When to signal
With the quiet "tick... tick... tick..."
That lulled me to sleep in the back seat as a child,
Content in knowing that Mommy was steering our shiny silver volvo
Home.
I don't want to worry about
"The Good Schools"
Or cars
Or drugs
Or sex
Or "The Real
